My Lady Jane, by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, and Jodi Meadows Lady Jane Grey was the queen of England for nine days--until her head was chopped off. So these authors decided to give Jane and happier--and longer--life. So here goes... King Edward is dying from the Affliction, and he has no heir. So he wills the throne to his cousin, Lady Jane Grey, and arranges for her to marry Gifford Dudley (don't call him Gifford. It's G) and produce one. It's already bad enough Jane and G have never met, but it is even worse that G is a Edian (human that can turn into an animal. This is not the correct way the "d" is written. The word is pronounced "eth-ee-un". These people are despised of). G is a horse all day, and when the sun sets, he is a man. This makes marriage hard. Obviously. These three get caught up in a conspiracy, and have to save England from its dangerous maybe-fate. I loved this book! It was comical and serious at the same time. It was just...good. 5/5 stars. You guys should most certainly read it!
