Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany Harry Potter is now a father, a Ministry man, and a husband. Balancing all of these tasks is not always easy. And, in particular, Albus Severus is struggling. He did not ask to be Harry Potter's son, and is really nothing like his father, however everyone expects him to be. While having to deal with his father's great legacy, Albus messes with time, merging past and present, and changing the future greatly. Harry and Albus learn that darkness is not always expected, and can appear in ways you'd least expect them. Can they defeat the darkness, and come to have the father-son relatsionship they both desire? I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT. The original Harry Potter books will forever be on a pedestal, but I'm so glad we got a look into how Harry deals with parenthood and how his children deal with a famous father and his legacy to live up to. I was very pleased with this book and hope the play comes to America.
