A Court of Thorns and Roses, by Sarah J. Maas Feyre lives with her father and two sisters, who, even though the family is poor, always want the best of the best. Feyre hunts to provide for the family, since her crippled father can't. One day, while out hunting , Feyre kills a wolf that she suspected to be Fae. A few days later, a beast comes to take Feyre from her family in exchange for the Fae wolf's life. At first, Feyre blocks out the Fae man, Tamlin, but as she stays with him, they grow closer, and eventually come to love each other. Unfortunately, there is a threat to the Fae land, that only Feyre can get rid of, or else, he and other Faes are doomed forever.
I seriously enjoyed this a loooottttt!!!! This Beauty and the Beast retelling was, in my opinion, better than Cruel Beauty. The world was a little better to understand, and I connected with the characters more. I love this!! Easily one of my favortes this year 5/5
